The Stabba TG8 is a Less than Lethal (LTL) weapon gun used for stunning criminals for the purpose of arresting them. LTL weapons cause low physical damage but rather high stamina damage which will force the target to their knees to be arrested.
The Stabba TG8 is a secondary pistol firing stun darts. It is semi-automatic, meaning one pull of the trigger will fire one dart. You can fire 5 darts per second.
Unlike the PIG, the TG8 has a range you would expect for a pistol, but the darts are less potent than the PIG's taser rounds. You have to land between 6 rounds to stun your target.
This "disadvantage", is compensated for by a far larger magazine (Allowing for up to two stuns within one mag) and a fast firing rate. However the TG-8 blooms a lot and doesn't recover until 0.4s since the last shot have passed which makes it a poor choice at placing accurate hits.
Usually death by LTL occurs when some other form of damage has been applied to the target, reducing their health drastically, or they are hit more than is necessary to stun. However as the TG-8 does almost no health damage, it will usually stun before killing an opponent, even when hit.
Arresting criminals advances Vigilante progression, which will unlock further LTL weapons.
