The Obeya 762-caliber Combat Rifle is a Rifle with impressive accuracy and range, but also with high recoil, which makes it harder to use, and significant bloom, increasing the time needed to kill other players at range. It has a rather bad accuracy when fired while running, especially when using Hunting Sight 3, but equiped with HS3 it's accuracy in marksman mode surpasses even stock sniper rifles. At higher ranges it will, however, spread too much to reliably tag people behind cover. It's over-damage makes it useful in a team to tag enemies or finish them off. Unlike the burst-firing OBIR it is used in a steady rythm allowing for more suppressive fire, but also requiring constant line of sight. It is advised to carry a close-range secondary like the S-AS PDW or the Obeya FBW while using this weapon, due to the low running accuracy, making it rather immobile.
Improved Rifling 3 significantly increases the damage from 60 to 92m, while Heavy Barrel allows for incredibly fast kills within 60m at the cost of less over-damage and decreased effectivity outside of 60m, making it operate rather close to the N-TEC. Cooling jacket makes shooting at higher fire rates easier, but does not help at ranges where accuracy is needed. The choice between those 3 mostly depends on the users preference.
